14 days, no questions
If you ask within 14 days of your purchase, we refund the full amount. We do not ask why and we do not expect you to justify it.
We can say that comfortably because there is a seven-day free trial before you buy: most people who pay have already watched the app work on their own television.
How to ask
One e-mail to our support address is enough. So that we can find the record, include one of the following:
- your licence key, or
- the e-mail address you used at checkout, or
- the device code shown on your TV.
There is no form to fill in, no account to create and no number to call.
How long it takes
We normally process the request the same day, and within one working day at the latest. The refund goes back to the card or method you paid with — we cannot send it anywhere else.
How quickly it appears on your statement is up to your bank and usually takes 5–10 working days. That part is out of our hands; we tell you the moment the refund is sent.
What happens after a refund
When the refund goes through, the licence is revoked and the device it was bound to is released; the app locks on that television. This is automatic and cannot be undone.
Nothing stops you buying again later if you change your mind.
Your statutory cancellation right
United Kingdom consumer law (The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013) gives a 14-day right to cancel a distance contract. For digital content that right can end once supply has begun with the consumer’s express consent.
We do not rely on that distinction. Our policy sits above the legal minimum: we honour any request made within 14 days, even if you have already used the licence.
Exceptions
- No refund is due where a licence was revoked for a breach of the terms of service.
- We reserve the right not to apply this policy to accounts that repeatedly buy and claim refunds.
- Manually issued licences (where no payment was taken) have nothing to refund.
Please write to us first
Most refund requests actually come from something fixable: provider details entered wrongly, a key that never arrived, a licence bound to the wrong device. We sort those out in minutes — and if we cannot, your refund is still there.
Before starting a chargeback with your bank, please write to us. A direct refund reaches the same result and gets there faster.
